Reflection

Throughout this semester course I have learned a lot about myself critically and creatively. I learned that you can’t force creativity to happen, it just does. Also, that thinking critically, as we did in project one can really open your eyes to many different ideas. I have realized that I am a lot more creative than I once I thought I was. This class allowed me to write about and discuss topics that actually interest me. When doing this I realized that my mind is really creative when it comes to exploring topics that really spark my interest. Overall, I realized I can really open up my mind to whatever I want with just a little bit of creative and critical thinking.

Project Two is what really changed my outlook. I realized I learned so much just from this project. Being able to pick any source I wanted to explore really benefited me. I realized that when I was working on Project Two about Sherlock, I was really putting care and effort into my work. I always work hard, but I don’t necessarily care what I’m doing. Project Two really made me realize how much I cared about making this project all it could be because it was about a topic I enjoy and was able to pick. It also made me learn that I can do different little exercises, like the mind maps and others just to expand my thinking. I learned that I really do have creative ideas, and I can have fun exploring these ideas.

If I had more time for Project Two, I would want to further by project in a few ways. I would want to write even more than just one episodes endings. I also would take an episode ending and try to make a visual representation of it. I would maybe make a video to show visual or even a poster. I love visuals and it would be fun if I had more time to really bring the new ending I wrote to life with color and visual. But, with the time I had, I think that rewriting an ending to an episode was not only fun but beneficial.
